and play the starters the entire game. if there is one thing left to salvage this season it's beating an undefeated team. that would be pretty sweet.
i think the loss to atl hurts mark the most. I want to see how he bounces back, if he does. I am going against my better judgment and saying he'll have a decent game. I think the greatest aspect to look forward to though, is if the jets superb d can stop peyton.
Believe it or not if the Ravens lose at Pittsburgh and Jaguars at Patriots (both teams will be underdogs) the Jets would actually be in great shape before their game even started. There is also the Denver at Eagles game (denver will also be dogs) and Houston at Miami.
basically the ravens or broncos need to lose twice. the dolphins and jags need to lose once. i'll translate that for everyone: NOT HAPPENING! I just want to win both games and finish the season with a winning record
losing two games would keep us in front of about 6 afc teams for a better draft pick. Thats really the only other way to look at it. Denver can lose to Eagles Ravens can lose to Pitt Jags will prob lose to Pats hopefully houston beats Miami and last but not least maybe we can win
Actually, the Ravens/Broncos need to lose only once. We would be tied with them on conference (7-5), but we beat them in common games so that would put us ahead of them. We have 4 teams ahead of us: MIA, BAL, DEN, JAX We have to get ahead of 3 of them. MIA, we need to have lose. Then it's 2 out of three for BAL/DEN/JAX. It's very possible we'll have control of our own destiny at kickoff if MIA/BAL/JAX all lose at 1pm.
im very confident balt jax and den will lose, i dn about miami but the thing is we need to win and who knows what we will do
I was banking on losing the Indy game and looking at the possibilities of getting in at 9-7 all along, which is still alive. So now we have to beat Indy, which is an AFC game whereas Atlanta wasn't, so that would be a better 9-7. Of course now we have to beat Indy for real. It would be just like them to go and do it now, too.
These losses hurt so much that I cant even care anymore. Seeing how this is the Jets...They will find a way to beat the Colts and end up beating the Bengals. Then in a tie for the wild card, they will miss out on the postseason. Which makes things just a bit more dandy
I can't root against the Jets but if they beat us I hope they go 19-0. Was hoping the Saints would since they already beat us. Stick it to Miami and New England.
Can't wait till next weekend. I don't see how your D is going to stop Manning, I don't think any team can really "stop" him. I watched the jets/falcons game and Reevis is a stud he will prob lock down wayne. I just don't know who is going to stop clark, garcon, or collie. Nothing against your D but I think we are a little better than the Falcons anemic offense. Hope it's a injury free game good luck guys.
Yea , thats about it. Play this game as its our superbowl considering the colts will most likely play there starters the whole game with the 10 day layoff.
