He is an absolute lock Hall of Famer, and one of the greatest feature backs in the history of the NFL. We have had the privilege in having him dazzle us on Sundays for 7 somewhat years, and he'll no doubtfully go down as one of the greatest Jets to ever wear the green and white.

In some ways, and its so hard to realize, I hope he doesn't come back, because I don't think I could stand watching a Curtis Martin be anything other than what he was. A true professional, with incredible heart and drive, and a workhorse warrior who's motor never stopped running. Never the fastest or flashiest, but always dependable and brilliant, Curtis Martin always epitomized true class. We would be blessed as a franchise to get another one cut from the same mold.

i dont want him to go out like that

id rather he goes out like Michael Jordan and they have to stop the game for the applause of the crowd and the players

he deserves it 100% and i think he should get it

Martin deserves a sendoff from the fans like what Bettis got.

Bettis' last home game...He scored 3 TD's, got a standing ovation from the crowd as well as a chant of "One More Year"

Not to mention the Steeler fans at the Super Bowl.

It's gonna be tough to not see number 36 in Black and Gold anymore.

C-mart should have gone out on top.
    Winning the Rushing title.
Then passing the torch to L.J. and our Current RB Troubles would NOT even exist.

    NOPE.

The Brad-Woody-Herms of the world wanted to get the most for their money and over use a HOF RB who was slowing down a little.

    This is the end result.

No way Martin should be going out on a stretcher/Crutches.
Especially since what he brought to the table was Consistency and Dependability.

He was Never hurt, rarely fumbled yet once he showed signs of slowing down injuring his Ankles, then knees Brad-Herm decided to Push him even harder and now we are left with one of the most respected RB's in NFL History on the PUP.

It's one thing for the F.O. to make a wrong decision, it's another thing to tarnish the Legend of C-Mart.

He does not deserve to go out like this but that's what happens when you have clueless A$$h*les runnin the show.
