As each day passes I have a bad feeling this is going to be a bad off-season. I know most teams haven't done anything but I just don't see our team improving. We HAVE to improve the O-Line even Stevie Wonder could see that. Now this whole contract issue with Coles. Since this regime took over excluding the draft I don't see that our team has improved at all via free agency. I hope we are players in free agency and we figure out who the hell is going to be our qb. I just have that feeling that we are going to be as bad this year as we were last year. Hopefully I am wrong.

But like I said before the Jets are like Donna Martin from 90210, gives you a little but won't go all the way.

NO teams have done anything except franchise players, extend contracts, and sign scrubs like we have. Free agency hasn't started yet...God help me.

In as much as good players with expiring contracts are being F-Tagged, there will be plenty of high-priced good players becoming cap casualties.

My only concern is with this regime's track record of dealing with it's own veterans (Kendall and Coles) and our perpetual re-building phase, what would make it attractive for free-agent players to come here except for MONEY?

same here..i think the only players were going to sign are practice squad players, back-ups, people who were just cut by teams...and if mangini like them walk ons that just got out of high school

As far as this off-season, I have no doubt we'll be very active. The only problem as far as addressing the lines is, the good players we need are few and far between. What we don't pick up in F/A will have to be found in the draft, and like someone else said, you can only expect so much from rookies.

I'm excited about other prospects though. We should be able to find/draft a good, deep-threat, prototypical WR (or two even, in the later rounds) for Clemens and maybe a QB (like Flacco) for insurance going forward.

Well, guys, I think I'll just have to wait and see what the NYJs do, or don't do.

I think paying a lot of money for FAs is for losers, as I've said before. The real issue is who do we gain and who do we lose and how does the results all fit together.

Now's not the time for me to judge that; I know absolutely nothing about goings and comings so far. But maybe somebody else around here does.

    Hooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooly shiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiit.

FA. Has. Not. Even. Started. Yet.

I see what you're saying though...if Mangini was smart he would have locked up Suggs, Haynesworth, and Andrews before they were franchised. Already the guy is showing his complete and utter incompetence once again. WE HAVE THE MONEY SPEND IT MANGINI (Mangina LOL)!!!
