Showered now...just waiting for my bro to get out then we are hitting the road to Jersey.

Perhaps making a pit stop at Dunkin Donuts for coffee and donuts :)

Then meeting with family for tailgating.

Got MAYBE 30 minutes of sleep...

    Go Jets!

Your not alone, their not giving us much of a chance today but a lot of people said the Saints would beat the Colts.

Slept like a baby. If my math is right this is going to be the 75th Jets-Patriots match I've watched. Might have missed one in there somewhere but I don't recall it if I did.

I no longer lose any sleep over the Jets. I also no longer do tailgates, so that helps a great deal. No worries about any of that stuff. I`ll be heading out to the stadium in about 30 minutes. I`m only 10 miles away so I`m gonna check out the parking situation.

Haha I was going to start a thread about this too. I got maybe five hours of sleep tonight and it was drunk sleep so I'm tired and it's only 10:15 am lol. It doesn't matter though because the Jets are playing soon! I was talking to my roommate last night about the opening day games and how they have basically become my adult christmas, where I am too excited to get decent sleep the night before.

I remember watching the Jets-Patriots in the 80's. I'd drink until 2am Saturday night at Coogans in Washington Heights and then stumble home, literally unable to walk a straight line. The next morning I'd hit the shower half drunk and half hungover at about noon and land on the couch and pop a Heineken at 12:30, just in times for the Jets pre-game show. By halftime the hangover was gone but I was plastered again and by the 4th quarter I was ready to go back to bed and sleep it off. Did that for like 5 years running. My Sundays during football season were a drunken haze.

And man, did I hate Spanky, the absolute last person you want to watch half in the bag.

I've watched the last 47, starting with the Jets blowing a 20-3 lead in the second meeting of 1984.

    My favorites-
    1991- Jets 28, @Patriots 21
    1993- Jets 6, @Patriots 0
    2002- Jets 30, @Patriots 17

I won't say 'watched' due to UK tv issues, but I've followed the last 9, so this is Jets - Pats X for me.
