I can't believe we passed up my boy Jerious Norwood

    at 71, who was drafted a few picks later by the Falcons, for Anthony Schlegel?!

    Was also mad that we passed up a chance at Gocong.

    Anyways, i trust Tangini and hope that Schlegel'll turn out to be a productive player for us that'll be a great backup and a great LB in running situations

    I was hoping for Norwood too...he's mad fast. Could've gotten Schlegl MUCH later in the draft...he was projected as a late 6th rounder by Sporting News. I think we should've taken Norwood. I didn't particularly like the 3rd round in general...

    we could have gotten both 3rd rounders in the 6th round. Total reaches after 3 good picks earlier.

    Norwood was one of my favorite RB prospects in the draft. I thought that he would be a great "lighting" to the "thunder" that we already have on our roster... a.k.a. Cedric Houston

    I don't think any of the NFL teams subscribe to Sporting News - so I'm not sure if they knew that they shouldn't pick Schegl until the 6th round. Damn I knew I should have sent Mangini my copy.

    I thought Norwood was the most underrated RB in the draft. After Bush, Norwood was the most explosive back available. If he just put on a little more bulk, he wudda been perfect.

    no problem...........getting as much of ur mom as i want to definitely makes up for the sting i felt when the jets passed up jerious or "my boy or son"

    I'm not a huge fan of Norwood and I was ok with passing on him... but passing and Gocong was stupid. We need to fill 2 positions on defense in the draft - OLB and NT yet we decide to spend our 2 defensive picks reaching for a pair of guys that we are stocked at - an ILB and a S. If we really wanted a safety it should have been Simpson or Bing at 97 (shocked they're both still on the board) and Cogong would be a better pick.

    yes i understand u but it just seems like some peole are kinda ingorant here and they can't grasp and object the fact that some people may talk a little differently than they do.
