Towards the end of that drive, they didn't run the ball once.

    Ivory was hot
    They had enough time
    They had timeouts

Dont know why Ivory wasnt in the game towards the end. They were giving Johnson the ball but he was doing absolutely nothing (not specifically the last drive)

Marty cost me a fantasy win by not putting Ivory in the fourth. I lost by one freaking point. WTH Marty.

Ivory came up shaking his head after his last run. Got hit by two defenders. Maybe he got his bell rung and they didn't want to risk putting him back in the game? If he was healthy he should've been in there, or if not Powell should've been in there as his backup instead of Johnson.

It was moronic. When it's third down and short on your last drive, you have two more downs. Take advantage of them. There was plenty of time and we had timeouts.

That's fair. It's not and nobody should, so my bad. I'm just doubly frustrated tonight with Marty's playcalling and substitutions.

That last drive: Powell runs for 7 and 6 yards respectively the only times the Jets run. The Bears couldn't contain Ivory or Powell when either one of them got the ball. There were timeouts left. Why stop going with what works? The short passes by Geno were pure heartburn.

  16. This seems to be the deal w/ Ivory after every game. The Jets obviously have him on a pitch count given his violent running style. You start getting toward 15 carries w/ this guy & he's gonna break down.

CJ2K needs to find his legs(I don't think he's done) & they need to utilize Powell more often.

Running was only half effective. Chicago had obviously studied our plays, they jammed the box whenever
we tried it. Our offensive line got pushed around all day, Brian Winters should be let go.

O well I won my football pool and hit total points right on.

  19. I wholeheartedly disagree.

While Chicago did do a good job of not completely breaking down against the run..there were lanes all night long. I thought BOTH our lines clearly dominated their counterparts especially in the 2nd half.

Winters had a horrendous first half..but I thought he played well the rest of the way.

I'll agree twice. I've been a Jets fan since they were the Titans so I really came to hate the draw play but I was yelling for a draw down there.
