Im going to try something new here to create a little interest here on the boards and make some money for tgg. We all post here and lets face it, some of us spend way more time on this site that Petro set up then we will admit to out wives, friends, family, ect...Fact is, this place rocks. So I think its time we do a little something to help out. It could be fun if we get the participation of regulars, and we could likely see the benefits of it on this site. Each week, anyone can place a bet, and anyone poster here can take it. The loser of that bet has to donate the amount bet to the site within the week. So if I bet someone that Mark Sanchez will throw over 300 yards this week for 100 dollars, the loser of that bet will need to donate that to TGG before the next week. Dont make bets that you can't keep guys. I suggest we keep it relatively small. I will start out (on a bet that I will likely lose) this week by betting anyone here $10, that Vernon Gholston will have a sack tomorrow.
How about we have a pledge card? I will pledge a buck to TGG and drink a beer for every sack VG has this year? But it's your thread and there are plenty of people who don't believe in VG now if more than one person takes you up on the bet do you pay out multiple times if you lose?
It's a great idea - and a bet I'd be happy to lose! So I'll take you up it. If VG gets a sack, I'll pay the $10 to TGG.

The sentiment is great and I applaud you, but there are kids on these boards who can't keep their tongue in their heads, let alone cough up $100. You know one of them will make a bet they can't keep. Might this also contravene your gambling laws???
Sports betting online, which I've been doing all morning, contravenes those laws. If you guys want to find a way to give Petro and the site more money, be my guest! I just don't know why people would do a deal for reasons like WSW said, unless you make it half and half.
Maybe like 25 cents an hour, sure. I get paid once in a while, but I do it more for exposure than anything.
all pedro has to do is move tgg off shore, like the bahamas. plus that way, whoever loses the most money to tgg gets a free nights stay in the 'green room'.
