    I'm pretty close as well.

    My love of football, thanks to the Jets and a few other reasons, has been severely drained over the past handful of years. I don't watch anything other than the Jets games anymore out of some perverse loyalty that I really just don't feel like giving the Jets anymore.

    Obviously I'm done if Gase is retained, but I'm also done if the Jets end up settling for a second-rate coach and QB. It'll be pretty clear at some point next season whether that's happened (and it probably will), at which point I'll be done.

    This is easily the worst I've ever felt as a sports fan. .

    The AFC title games were tough but at least coming out of those there was a sense of pride and reasonable hope for the following seasons.

    This is pure, unmitigated, misery.

    That's already a guarantee. Nobody worth their salt is going to even accept an interview to this dumpster fire without the #1 pick. That was literally the only thing that made this job attractive.

    Joe Douglas might as well go ahead and resign because there isn't a human being alive that could turn this franchise around. He'll give it a valiant effort, I'm sure, but I don't even think Bill Parcells could drag this thing in the right direction at this point.

    The Jaguars will now be in the playoffs for the next decade at the very least while we continue to do nothing.This is why Gase should have been fired weeks ago...Atleast then you can control the interm coach.

    I get TL is one of the best qbs to come out in decades, but were talking like hes potentially Payton Manning.

    I said it in the other thread. I know some Jets fans laughing jokingly about the win today and its not very funny. They are in a rough spot. Fileds and all the other QB,s coming out no. If they were smart they would draft the tackle from Oregon, stack the online. Trade for Wentz. He is better than whats left in draft. Then get a stud running back to run behind what could turn into best lines in league. Even that won't bring a super bowl down the road. They truly f##$#$ themselves today
