    hypothetically - If Garapolo plays flawless, and #tomshady comes back and plays with the shaky hand, ultimately leading to him being yanked and cut. Would you want to jets to go after him

    **** this is not a "if the price is right issue" I just want to gauge the fanbase feelings toward #tomshady******

    Always hated Jason Taylor and didn't want to sign him. That being said, once he was a Jet I cheered for him and rooted for him until he was cut. Would be the same with Timmy B.

    Really would depend on what our qb situation looked like at the end of the year.
    as far as the rivalry born hatred, i wonder what the viking fans thought about favre until he was tearing it up in purple?

    I could imagine a scenario where Brady and Belichick/Kraft have a falling out and Brady might want to get some revenge by playing for the Jets.

    I think the big differences are first off the cheating but also I don't think Favre ever talked down about the Viking whereas Br*dy continually has something bad to say about the Jets that goes beyond just rivalry.

    So what? He hates the Jets. He would retire before he plays here. If he goes to a division rival I could see the Bills.

    It would be worse then Favre, hell even more hated then Jason Taylor. I don't see it happening either. I don't want it to. I want to find our own QB.

    You know maybe you're right. I said I would sign him but I don't see him ever being here. While I wasn't for over penalizing him he's eminently hateable.

    This is true. And used the Jets as a one year patsie so he could go to the Vikings (so he could get back at the Packers). Not that he didn't try here, he did and wanted to win. But at no time did he expect to stay here past one year.
