?

Would you mind if Vernon Gholston took performance-enhancing drugs?

  1. No, I wouldn't mind. Anything to get his pussy ass to play like a Pro Bowler.

  2. Yes, god dammit I would mind. Integrity to the game is vital.

Brian Cushing's recent four game suspension for his use of performance-enhancing drugs got me thinking, "Wow. Those things really work, huh?" I realize that this question is pretty fucked up, but would you mind if Vernon Gholston took steroids or other performance-enhancing drugs if it got him to produce results comparable to those expected upon drafting him in 2008?

I'm split on this one. Personally, I would prefer if the entire game was clean, but we all know that is simply not the reality. If Vernon Gholston took performance-enhancing drugs and started playing the way he did at Ohio State, then who the fuck am I to complain? Aside from committing off-the-field crimes ala Roethlisberger and Lawrence Taylor, Gholston can't really disgrace himself much more than he already has. Also, no one really remembers or gives a shit that Calvin Pace got busted taking that substance from "GNC."

Purely hypothetical, and fucked up. I know. But... thoughts?

Isn't Gholston's problem his mindset/dedication, not his physical talent? He's already a hell of an athlete - he just needs to be a football player.

That said, I'd have no problem with him taking PEDs, if he doesn't get caught - great. If he gets suspended - whatever, it's just Gholston.

the way he played at Ohio wasn't any good either. He was just able to overpower OL who weren't going to make the NFL.

It actually wouldn't matter if he took steroids. He's that fucking bad.

I'm just saying, lets assume that he took steroids and it did matter. It mattered a lot. Would you mind?

Vernon Gholston on steroids would be about as useful as Jamarcus Russell on steroids.

The "You're an asshole" response was just too good to pass up, but I really wouldn't care if he took them at this point. He's a lost cause at this point, so at least he can try to get an edge. If he gets suspended, oh well....

Maybe that means he loses his pay as well? That would be sweet....

i disagree i mean to some extent your right about the undersized ol, but gholston is a genetic freak with tons of potential the biggest mistake was switching him from a de to an olb...i still dont think he is an complete bust i actually cant wait to watch and see if he makes any improvements the biggest concern i have is his drive...it seems as though these rookies make so much money off the jump that they seem to loose all desire to be productive what more can you expect when your handing 22-24 year old guys 50mill without having to work for it...prime example see jamarcus russel :shit::shit:

I am 100% for Gholston juicing to get something out of him. Let him juice up, have a big year, then trade him.

I actually encourage him to get roided out of his mind, and getting suspended 4 games. I could give a shit about Vernon.

That would be the ideal scenario.

If Veronica took PED's I'm sure somehow it would have an adverse effect on him forcing him to grow tits and suck even more...if that's even possible

Gholston already has a godly body... He should be able to perform at a high level with his current physical stature. What he lacks is killer instinct. The biggest benefit he'd get from steroids would be the potential of "roid rage". With that being said, I wouldn't care if he took steroids. All he really has to do as a 3-4 end this year is occupy blockers... on most plays he can just bull rush and be effective, especially since Rex will probably only play him on passing downs.

I could just imagine Gholston if he took roids.

Hes already (physically) a monster, teams would have to double up just to block him based on raw strength alone if he took roids.
