Rather than squeeze out another mock, I thought this would be more telling of where I have guys rated. Let me know what you think, I'd be happy to explain any reasoning.

BTW- Yes, I really do think McCoy is the best player in the draft. His natural ability to change a game gets him the SLIGHTEST advantage over Suh. It is really paper thin.

    TJ Ward FTW!

Good shit, GH. You forgot the extra four on Jerry Hughes' ranking - he should be 414.

    Excellent Job!!

My Top 50 is close with a few differences.

I have Jason Pierre-Paul, Arrelious Benn, Kareem Jackson and Brandon Spikes much higher.

Ricky Sapp and Mt Cody didn't even crack my top 50.

You know I love Sapp, and I think Cody has a lot of value in other styles of 3-4, just not the Jets. For instance, he would be a nice replacement for Jamal Williams, or might be an option with Minnesota as a Pat Williams replacement next to Kevin Williams.

With the other players it just came down to personal preference. For instance Spikes, I would honestly take Donald Butler and Daryl Washington ahead of him, without question, plus I think he might be exclusively a 34 player. For Benn and Jackson, I moved them up a bit before I posted it and I think they'll both be taken higher, it's just that overlap between Rds 1 and 2 is so deep.

McCoy has an explosiveness in his game that I think will translate to making him a star in the NFL. The fact that these players will be going to bad teams that need impact guys, you have to factor in who will be able to make the big plays. Suh is phenomenal, but I think McCoy will be able to make more big plays that won't even give the other ten guys a chance to mess up. McCoy is a mistake eraser, because on any play he could be in front of the QB/RB in 5 steps or less.

Bradford's arm health is a big factor to me still, because I know what Clausen can do. Both are leaders, both (when healthy) have good NFL arms, but I think when it comes to being polished as a QB Clausen has a little advantage. Now I'm not saying that Bradford can't be coached to make up that difference, but if I'm taking a franchise, I want as little questions as possible. Injury and offense are enough to make Sam second.

Kindle gets the nod because i think he represents the 100% prototype to play 34 OLB in the NFL. The fact that he has linebacker experience, proved himself as a dynamic rusher, and is coming off the success of Brian Orakpo means a lot. Brandon Graham is a great prospect too, but I just think that Kindle's proven ability as a drop back guy makes him more valuable. That said, in a 43 Graham takes the lead, because I don't think Kindle's game would be as dynamic with his hand on the ground every play.

Ward is nasty. And Hughes' ranking reflects his potential position in the CFL Draft, I just felt bad leaving him out.
