Cman previously insinuated that there is only a few that are responsible for the no politics rule. So depending on who it is it might be allowed. I wouldn't be so quick to think it will be shut down. Depends on the poster. The more OG the better.
Dilbert? I dont think I've even looked at the comics section (or "Funny section" for the ole timers) since Bill Watterson sent Calvin & Hobbes out to pasture.... a sad day indeed
Yeah, I didn't realize Dilbert was still in papers. Mainly because I haven't picked up a newspaper in like 15 years. I never really fell in love with Dilbert the way a lot of people did. I only ever cared about Far Side and C&H.
The subject is certainly politics adjacent... let's just focus on the social aspect. Scott Adams says he's basing his opinion on a poll... I think he's being disingenuous. And I'm sure the Black community as a whole is upset that the guy who writes Dilbert has given up on them.
This whole thing is based on a partisan push poll. Really we cannot discuss it without politics breaking out all around the discussion so my suggestion is just to not discuss it,
Now, if you want to talk about shitty comic strips, look no further than the shit-eating Family Circus.
I'm wondering what could have happened in Scott Adams' life that could inspire such public dipshittery.
Here here.. I never read the strip which is apparently just as well....no need to read the inane rantings of yet another angry-as-hell, dumb-as-rocks racist. And besides: https://www.rollingstone.com/cultur...cel-culture-is-good-for-democracy-1234681224/
JOHNNY HART OBITUARY Johnny Hart of Nineveh Johnny Hart, 76, of Nineveh, died unexpectedly at his drawing board on Saturday afternoon, April 7, 2007. -Legacy.com Looks like his grandsons are now running it, wherever it is.
I make it a point to read the funnies everyday and it’s really something just how not funny most strips are. Ziggy? Garfield? Cathy? Curtis? Just uniformly awful.
