With several players deciding to opt out of the season, adding to the complete disaster it looks like the MLB restart will turn into, I was wondering about this. In the event that the 2020/21 season gets canceled (or postponed), how would this effect the draft? Would there even be the draft (I'd think so)? How would they go about doing the draft order for the teams? Would, in a postponement, the draft get pushed back even further? How would the college football season look if key players e.g. Lawrence decided to opt out of the season? I'm genuinely curious to see the different ideas that could be thrown around for this.
