Greene will be our starter, but there will be no true depth chart, they will stick with whatever is working that day like they did with Greene in the playoffs. (Still not guaranteeing Leon will be around)
Greene's the work horse and LT and leon will split carries I see LT playing a Tashard Choice type of role
I think Greene will get about 60% of the 1st and 2nd down carries, LT 30% and Leon about 10%. Then I'd say Leon gets the majority of third downs, with LT being utilized for his receiving skills. That's what I'd predict.
Wholly unrelated, but I love the sig. I think we use Leon in every conceivable situation but traditional running back. Whether it's in the Seminole offense alongside Brad Smith, or under center himself, split in motion, or in two back situations--I doubt he sees many snaps in the power-I or running downs. But when we have a time to take a chance downfield, or with a big-reward play (shovel pass, screen, direct snap), he'll be there.
1. LT: Hear me out. Anyone can run behind this line. We need to keep the Machine oiled up for the playoffs. 2. Greene: ^ read above 3. Leon: Coming off a broken leg, I still believe (when healthy) he is our best option on 3rd downs and he's our best returner. Whenever he gets the ball he's got a chance to break a long one.
Awesome Sig. *applause* Someone should make that sign and bring it to a game if you can't do it. I agree with most posters that Greene will be the #1 With LT & LW getting the rest. Can you image a 3 WR set with LT & LW coming out of the backfield to pick up screens? Who do you cover?
I mean, we need to win games first to get into the playoffs, and we're not such a juggernaut yet that we can afford to not put our best players on the field.
How will the RBs be listed? My vote is by name- Actually probably by name and number, for example- Leon Washington, #29
Rex loves the hot hand. I feel he will use Greene first but if LT is running better or leon then they will get more carries.
