Does anyone know of a way to watch the Jets preseason games live besides going to the stadium? I get especially pissed every year when the dumb ass cable company doesn't show the Jets/Giants preseason game.

Sure they do. They are live on regular network TV. Next week's is on CBS. Unless your cable company somehow blacks it out. I don't think they can legally in the pre-season.

Before they made season ticket holders buy preseason tickets home games used to be shown on tape delay but since 1998 every preseason game has been shown live here in NY.

You must have to live in the city because they rarely show them upstate.

Yeah, I remember that but can't remember the last time that was. They use to be delayed and shown on 9 or 11 and start at 11PM.

I live in NJ but I guess the live area could be limited by distance.

So then to answer your question, try to find somebody or some place with a dish. They usually always have the network stations from the nearest large city which would probably be NYC for you (hopefully). That would give you the chance to see them live.

For broadcast purposes, most of NJ is considered metro. NY.

1997 was the last year it happened, starting in '98 we had to buy preseason tickets so every preseason game was a sellout and they could show the home preseason games live.

Yes, as long as you get the NYC CBS affiliate then the game should be show in your area.

CBS 2 New York broadcasts most of them I think one is Nationally televised on Fox and one on local NBC NY this year.
