I'm playing a franchise as the jets and i get sacked at least 2-3 times a game while i can't get a single sack in multiple games. When i get to the qb quickly they always just pass it some random place and it's a duck pass. It's really starting to piss me off because then everyone's ratings plummets the following year. Any suggestions?

You really need to utilize blitzes in this game. One way I get sacks is by moving Gholston to LE and then shifting Ellis to DT. Gholston is fierce at DE and Ellis has a great strength rating and translates into a 92 overall at DT. At that point, you just have a weakling at RE in Douglas. If we had more depth a LB I'd say move Thomas to DE but it's not worth it.

I tend to get coverage sacks, it's almost impossible to put quick pressure on the QB. But that's always been the case for me with Madden. One tactic I use is I move backwards to get off of the guy blocking me then try going around another lineman who is being blocked. Works sometimes. They also changed the controls a bit, the right thumbstick is used for pass rush moves rather than the shoulder buttons.

Even if Ellis is a 92 at DT..Jenkins is still a 95 and better

I know but I usually run a nickel, dime, etc so I usually have 4 down linemen.

You really need to use te designed blitzes. Overload a side, send a cb sometimes. You can get burned but the best way I've had success is bringing 7 or 8 guys and loading em up on one side

Don't forget to jam the receivers at the line as well. What's the point of sending 7 or 8 guys at the QB when they're going to get a free release right across the middle for long gains? Also shade your safeties to help cover the middle of the field if you have to. I don't have a problem getting sacks.

What I can't seem to get is pancakes. For some reason, for the last 2 years now, I'm always finishing up my season with a total of 50 pancakes for my ENTIRE offensive line. Meanwhile, the computer is finishing the season with 1 player at 90+ pancakes. So, technically, my OL never gets to go to the Pro-Bowl.
