I would trade no more than the 4, 29, and a third because regardless of how amazing he is, he's still a RB

...think about it this way. If the Jets had the same pick as Houston and we were offered the #4 and #29 would people be happy with that package knowing that we were passing up on Bush? I wouldn't....

I would give up Pick #4,#29, a 3rd rounder and a 1st rounder next year to get Reggie Bush.

I pretty much agree with that. Maybe a second next year instead of a third this, but thats my limit.

    #4, #29, 1st rounder of next year.

I wouldn't do it, but that's what I would give up if I had to. If I had to choose, I'd rather trade the #35 to Houston for Dominick Davis. (A proven 1,000+ yard rusher, behind a terrible O-Line.)

I think I'd give up #4, #29, and a 2007 pick. There are too many holes on the roster to include a third 2006 day one pick in this deal

A trade for Bush would require SO much compensation. Bush is going to be a great player in the NFL, but it will only be for the Texans.

I'd give up our whole draft this year and next. I heard he is so fast he could walk on water..

To me its had to say. I think I would rather not trade, than trade 3 or 4 picks to get Bush and have him be the next Garrison Hearst. So much promise so little results. I think that would hurt more than just drafting with the picks we have and Bush become LT part Dux.

I'm with Jetfaninpa. He isn't going to run for 4000 yards in one season!

RB's, can be found in the later rounds.Tangini Please!! Don't mortgage the future on this guy!

I'd give a box of corn flakes, and maybe I would throw in the milk.

NO WAY I would trade up for Bush. I don't want to trade up for Leinhart, much less Bush. The draft is a numbers game. When you have as many picks as us, chances are you will find a diamond somewhere. Then when you consider how strong this draft is, we theorectically could pull out three first-round-level talents in this draft.

You would seriously rather mortgage that for one guy? A guy who hasn't yet proven he can run 20-25 times in an NFL game? QBs are one thing, but RBs are a whole different story. This isn't like losing out on Favre.

If you remember, Ricky Williams was supposed to be a phenom too. Ditka threw a draft away on him. See how well that worked out?

i like how you think... if he got all that yardage behind an o-line that gave up 49 sacks in '04 and 76 in '02, imagine what he would do behind AJ, Kendall (hopefully D'Brick, Mangold) & co.

We could get Davis for a lot less than #35, if we cared to.
