I just got home and came here and read all of this. I know we don't know how bad it is but I already feel dejected. This franchise is truly cursed.
We are fucked Chao says, based off of what he sees in video, he believes #Jets QB Zach Wilson tore his right ACL. You really hope that is not the case. Wilson had just turned a corner. https://t.co/ht3ZdQiOCX— Connor Hughes (@Connor_J_Hughes) August 13, 2022
Is there such a thing as winning too many games for a team which hasn't had a winning season since 2015?
I hope everyone here watches football games on Sunday with a TV and some sort of second screen. Because the Jets are definitely living on my iPad this year while I watch a real game on the 4K display.
Honestly I'm not sure I can do it this year. I didn't even mean to watch a minute of the jets today and I watched Wilson tear his ACL in less than 2 minutes of it being on the TV. Unless they make a trade for a QB I'm in a mental state right now where I'm going to pass on this season and get my sunday's back for my 1 and 3 yr old. I'm sure I'll catch some games but in no way schedule life around watching them like I have for decades
Trading for a QB would be even worse. Are you really dying to watch phantom 7-10 football? Your kids also hate the Jets so it’s ok.
You are correct that it wouldn’t make sense because neither Jimmy g, nor any other potential trade candidate, is going to get the jets in the playoffs, but that’s not the point. Trading for a qb will keep the jets fans at least interested and spending money. If Wilson is done and the jets trot Flacco out there, most jets fans will kiss the year goodbye and return next year, losing millions for the jets.
7-10 looks like a playoff season considering how the last two years have gone. I really want the skill position players to develop even if it's with a different QB.
I think it might be. We've had one winning season in 10 years. My kids are too young to know what football or the jets are. But for their sake, I hope they hate them.
Mike White can give us near the same excitement that Garoppolo can give us. And he’s free.99. I don’t disagree with either statement. I’m a big proponent of building a winning culture even in a lost season. But I don’t think trading for a QB gives us any advantage over what we have on the roster.
Mike White's cleats are in Canton. That has gotta count for something. Bad rehearsals turn into great opening nights. Go Jets.
Dude like I hope y'all don't think I'm a pussy but I'm on the edge here. I'll never root for another team but it's getting harder to care. We're stuck in a cycle of mediocrity and when we see a glimmer of hope we get hit with freak injuries. I just don't know man
