He's 35 and not getting any younger/mobile. Realistically how many years till he becomes more of a liability?
Not many. His body is already breaking down. All it will take is one major injury at this point and the Pats will move on. Think Peyton in Indy and Montana in SF. It just doesn't matter how great you were the instant that you're not any more.
Why do you think his body is breaking down? The guy has never been very athletic and is a strict pocket QB. I could see him playing another 4 or 5 years easy.
Who the hell knows, Brett Favre lasted forever and he actively sought contact. Peyton'd probably still be working on his consecutive game streak if he didn't get freak neck issues. Plus Brady showed earlier in his career he could still win even when he wasn't video game football great.
2-3 years. I think this year and next year will be very good for him and then he'll start declining at a steep rate.
years? i'm thinking days. come on super mario i am joking, just in case somebody wants to get all rightous
I dunno, i dont see him wholey as the football till the day I die kinda player. I think when he reaches a point and then decides hes not gonna push it and live his celebrity life style, protect my good looks get a movie career going kinda BS. Like Dorn in Major League.
If they protect him well,he can play another 2-3,but i feel he is a good hit away from not being the same at all times. And that O line is nothing to write home about.
