If you wanna discuss as well....then also mention how much of the load he will carry along with the other backs....and if you think he can stay healthy all season.
between washington houston and blaylock all getting touches i think he will get close to or a little over one thousand yards.
Wow alot of peopel still have faith in Curtis eh....I think he can still play but I don;t think he can hit 1000 unless they really push it...
I wish he could get 1,000 but I doubt it, I love c-mart but he is old and has carried us for so long. A man can only do so much.
He's a warrior. Better o-line and less idiotic coach will help, too. 275 carries for 1,100 yards (I hate predictions).
Curtis is getting around 1000-1700... With a shared load.. Martin has the best vision and can make something out of nothing better than anybody on our roster.
I say 600 on the nose. Where's my category, byatch? I think Cedric will prove to be starter material with about 800 yards and a nice bunch of TDs, I think Leon will prove to be a great change of pace with as many yards receiving as running (500 each) and I think Curtis will stick around another year after this as a backup, after slashing his salary to the league minimum because he "jsut wants to win a super bowl."
With all the guys we have right now I'm going to go with around 800 yards. Between wanting to keep him fresh and getting the young guys a few carries, I think this number is a fair amount. I think askew, washington and houston can all contribute to the position, but we'll see how the injury game plays out to see who get the bulk of the carries.
i think this will be much easier to predict after training camp. i say we run the ball 30 times a game with curtis getting it about 15 times. that would be 240 carries for the yr but he could see as many as 275. avg of at least 4 yds gives him anywhere in between 960-1100 yds. thats the best guess i could give.
