He will be. He has just not received a fair shot yet. He needs to be gifted a starter job somewhere like the rest of the starting QBs in this league.

I think he could be. He was the best QB on the Jets this year. Mostly because Sanchez is retarded and McElroy has an arm worse than pennington.

Man, I don't know. I would like to see it and I think the world deserves an opportunity to get a definitive answer. As it stands now, he's done enough to prove both his fans and detractors correct. We need to see him get a full season with a coach who openly supports him in a system tailored to his strengths like RGIII and Russell Wilson have. I think the Tebow haters have just as much interest and right to know if they were correct, in absolute terms, as the Tebow fans do. It's good for the NFL, IMO.

    To answer your question:

Why? - Because a team is desperate for a QB, excitement in the fan base, and ticket sales. I think it has to be a combination of these conditions. A team would not only be looking for him to be a good QB for them, but also to cash in on his popularity. There is an outside chance of an established team picking him up because they think they can polish him up without media pressure. Right now, I think JAX is the only viable option for him to start, though KC, ARZ, PHI all need a QB.

Why not? - Media circus wherever he goes, coupled with the fact that many think he can never become an accurate 60% passer no matter what he does. Many also believe he doesn't have the smarts to run through progressions. I disagree with them on these viewpoints, but that does not diminish the fact that many people just don't think he can do it.

    I think he can.

But to beat a dead horse even more, I think he could do ok in a regular snap from center offense.

I doubt he ever becomes pro bowl quality doing that, though he will always make some plays with his legs.

Where he would shine immediately, and brightest in the long run is in the spread.

I think that the schemes you see now where the quarterback isn't a designated running threat are going to go by the wayside in the future, and more quickly than you might think if other formations produce as I expect.

I look at things and I think that Brady and Manning are the dinosaurs now. It's just that this league takes years to respond to things.

If Brady and Manning are dinosaurs, they are T-Rexes.

I think he can. But I lot of things need to line up right to make it in the NFL. I believe there are other guys out there who could have done it if circumstances had been better.

So I don't know at this point -- uncertainty. If there was anyone who needed a stable situation, with one coach and one OC the first few years, it was Tebow. And he had the exact opposite -- a "worse than usual" situation to get acclimated in.

I know it's often said that he has to have a coach who is "committed" him (and he probably does). But surely there are a lot of guys who would love that chance -- the point is you have to seem good enough for someone to want to commit. So no whining about that.

But not having someone "committed to you" (which is common), and having the coach that drafted you fired in midseason, then changing teams again -- not all that common. He's been working on his throwing the whole time, now he just needs a chance to put it together -- to deploy the mechanics. It's going to be a little bit ugly at first as he tries out his new throwing mechanics in live reps and games.

Don't worry about Tim. He was a winning starter, and will be a winning starter. He is still an up and coming young QB.

If he were like most human being, he would have been smashed by the pressure. But he is wired differently.
If this sub-forum won't be deleted, let's come back 5 years from now on, and see who is right.

So is Mark Sanchez and Vince Young. Sanchez on his way out and Young no longer in the league. So u Tebow nuts need to come up with something better.

I started to watch his game since high school years. He has a warrior's heart. Unless career-ending injury, he will be around longer than you think.

You have to be kidding me, you have a Dolphin avatar and you don't know those names. Either you truly don't know and should be banned from every beach in South Florida or this is a very disgusting piece of sarcasm. In either case you need to change your avatar to the 2012 butt fumble photo.
