How many more QBs should the Jets sign?

We have five. Why stop there? Maybe we could just outfit the entire offense with 11 QBs. Then we can play some serious option offense. Imagine all the kneeling.

Can't just sign any QB. They must be proven kneelers, I mean, winners since conception.

    Ok seriously, Matt Simms??

So you made a thread to whine about a Qb that will be competing for 3rd spot with Kinney and McElroy? Really? Are you supprised we signed some training camp fodder after the rookie mini camp? Is this your first offseason following football?

We still have 4 open roster spots to hit the new 90 man roster limit last I read. I hope they sign 4 QB's.

I'm actually glad they are giving Simms a shot.

Its not even a competition for the 3rd spot, its a competition for a place on the practice squad!

Most teams go into training camp with "arms." The roster has been expanded to 90 players, what's the difference? When the final cut down is made we will probably have 3 QBs on the roster.

McElroy's spot is up for grabs, and a practice squad spot is up for grabs.

Now 5 on board so... how about 48 more? Some of them will NOT suck, right?

Won't all those other QBs taking snaps make Sanchez jealous? Won't it make his butt hurt?

Trolling much? ... Or just too stupid to know that there are 4 to 5 qb's in camp every year?

Vol Fan here. Matt Simms sucks. McElroy will be the 3rd string QB this year. When tyler Bray went down, Matt helped not one bit.

Did the OP not read that the current roster size is 90?

We need extra QBs to throw to all the WRs we have. It makes total sense.

Plus in all seriousness, I think they are trying to replace McElroy. Oh and Tebow sux.

Rich Cimini, is that you? LOL stupid teboners.

I'd much rather see us sign Jim Leonhard or a RT, but whatever, it can't hurt.

Didn't anyone watch McElroy play pre-season before his injury... For a rookie and with our offensive line, he looked pretty good. To just write him off, which is what I am reading here is not too smart. :jets:

Vince Young is still available, and he would be perfect for the "spread option offense" that all the Tebots are touting as the next big thing for the NFL.
