Obviously, if you selection 8 or below it says a lot about what kind of QB you think Sanchez is. I personally think it's 10 or 11--He's been that bad. In his third year, I'm not sure there's any justification that merits a 4th season.
I think an average NFL qb could have won 10 with this team. A solid starting NFL qb could have won 11-12, and a premiere qb could have won 13+.
With an average QB, the Jets certainly win the Denver and Miami games, maybe the Giants game as well. The Jets are a fatally flawed team that never would've won the Super Bowl this year, but better QB play would've put them in the postseason.
Hey, if you want Sanchez on the field for Denver, @Miami, etc, it's your call. Don't really think it's embarrassing to disagree.
so the QB allowed Tebow to go 95 yds w/ 5 mins to play? if our D played to it's reputation we beat Oak, NE at least once and denver and are comfortably in the playoffs
No one cares about Sanchez' 4TD in a medicore performance against the Bills. He did not have a good season, and helped mightily in preventing a playoff birth.
Sanchez IS an average QB. That's what he is. There aren't many Brees/Rodgers/Bradys in the NFL. There are a lot of starting QBs just as mistake-prone as him.
An average QB wouldn't have won against the Chargers or the Bills and not in any game this team lost this season. Answer is 6 or fewer.
he didn't play well but we had the lead and Den at their own 5 yd line up by 3. The D allowed themto go 95 yds, they couldn't even hold them to a FG. That game is on the D
No, but he failed to move the ball all day then threw the inexcusable pick 6 that put Tebow and the Broncos in position to win the game. Sanchez is far from the only problem with the Jets, but he completely melted down at the end of this season. If you can't see that, then you're blind.
