How likely are we to get LeCharles Bentley?

    If we have an opportunity, I think we jump all over him as Mawae's replacement. What do you guys think?

    The only talk of LeCharles Bentley coming to the Jets has just been hope by the Jets fans.

    he will draw a bidding war doubt we enter .l.. but again i could just be in mindset of the old Front office these new guys maybe aggresive

    No way we can get him. As much as i would love to get him we wouldnt be able to afford him because hell be looking for a big deal.

    I don't think it is very likely. If he isn't going to Philly, there will be a lot of interest from many teams, and that will drive his price way up. It would be nice to get him, though.

    Unless this team has a strong strategy for drafting Mangold, then I hope they make a strong push for Bentley. I don't care if he's expensive. A great center is worth it. Some positions you have to pay for, and OC is one of those positions.

    I hope they would go after him hard but I think it will hard to sell him NY. He has been on the Saints for 4 years and will probably want to be on a team that can win now.

    Getting Bentley's a long shot, even with all the cap room the Jets have, it sounds like Bentley might be the most coveted FA this off-season. Especially with the new CBA, I'm sure more than a dozen teams with be extremely interested in signing him.
