IMHO if JWN had brain damage I would say blame it on the all alcohol he drank which is a known killer of brain cells

No it's not. They were talking specifically about the effects of hits to the Head, any damages from concussions.

    We're talking CTE

There have been quite a few studies into the effect of Hyperbaric oxygen therapy for traumatic brain injuries as well as other medical issues, but the lack of profitablity has really hindered in depth research.
I'm skeptical that it can reverse old trauma, but think it can have a positive effect on recent injuries

Well of course Joe will take the high road on this and not confront the NFL to have safety equipment but we all know he’s right

The sport is a huge entertainment venue and focusing on the danger of it would put a dent in things for them

Of course if hyperbaric treatment is a simple, cheap treatment to CTE, it would negate the danger of head injuries and add to the longevity of the league. There by increasing profit.
Every team could put 10 hyperbaric Chambers in their facility for under $100k. That's $320 thousand vs billions they are paying out.

I have had two severe concussions blackout loss of balance etc.

I am also a diver with over 200 logged dives.

What depth do they simulate in a hyperbaric chamber and for how long? I would imagine they can,t exceed Navy dive tables? Breathing compressed air at depth increases the nitrogen in your blood. Is the beneficial part of Hyperbaric treatment increased nitrogen in your blood?

Joe didn't go into depth or duration in the interview, just claimed 120 dives in 40 dive increments.

  12. Yeah his brain damage started reversing as soon as he handed New England the VLT & started kissing Brady’s ass.

Give thanks to the football gods!
