Here is my opinion of the WR's in the upcoming draft:

    My Top 5 Wide Receivers

    1. Santonio Holmes ? Great speed and decent size. Played in a big conference with a good team. Great depth threat.

    2. Maurice Stovall - Has unprecedented size at 6?4 and will be a great weapon in the red zone

    3. Chad Jackson ? Great height and had a great work out. Won the catch competition. Worry though that his stock really rose based on workouts.

    4. Demetrius Williams ? Good size and ability won?t really wow you but I feel his is a good all around receiver.

    5. Derek Hagan ? Can spread the field with his speed and I have seen him make some very nice catches down field. Could be a sleeper

    Possible Busts

Sinorice Moss - Like his brother he must be in the right system to make it but he can spread the field with his excellent speed.

    Potential Sleepers

Jason Avant ? Great special team skills can return kicks and contribute right away
Skyler Green ? Great Late round guy who has amazing special team ability.

I think that Stovall has the greatest chance of being a bust. He did nothing at ND his first few years. He was an underachiever. He had one good year but that was all because of the system he was in. I think that everyone is looking to deep into the year that he had and not taking in the bigger picture.

Hagan has a tendency to drop balls to often. I think that Holmes is the real deal and so Chad Johnson.

I for the life of me cant understand how Sinorice Moss is a first rounder. Probably cuz Mel Kiper's love of small speedy receivers and corners but as a Cane fan he was our 3rd maybe 4th receiver and stood out only at times. I think he has bust written all over him

A lot of ND players played well this year and not last year. However, I think that had a lot to do with crappy coaching in past years.

In 4 years Avant didn't return a punt or a kick at Michigan, and speed and elusiveness are his weak points. Guys a pure possession receiver and thats it.

Why did you make like 10 posts? It could have been all in one thread.

Because I wanted to break it up by position. Plus it makes it easier if one is only interested in certain positions in the draft. Say the Jets positions of need.

One Sleeper I forgot to add to my list in the WR department is

Brandon Marshall - Played at UCF and had some big games. He made a good impression in his bowl game vs. Nevada with three TD's. Has good size at 6'5 and knows how to go up and get the ball.
