I'm an old school fan from LI who absolutely despises the meadowlands. The day Woody committed to staying in NJ with the Giants, my love of this franchise died a little. Why? Because the Meadowlands is a logistical nightmare to get to for any Long Island fan, and the Jets belong in NYC proper, period. I lament the stadium situation not only because I have to cross 2 bridges to get there, but also the fact that there is literally NO public transport access to the stadium whatsoever. And please don't include the bus, which has to take traffic snarled highways back to the Port Authority. It's a joke. Word is the new stadium will have a NJ transit stop. Big deal. I can't wait to share that train with all the jackoffs shopping at that ugly monstrosity Xanadu complex. That will be fun and will likely be no improvement. At least at Shea, I am able to get my car out of a parking lot and onto a highway with relative ease. What's with these horrifically bad parking garages that take 2 hours to snake out of? Is this the way it's gonna be forever? I sure as hell hope not.
