Santonio and Coles will be back soon

...Danny Woodhead can be an emergency slot guy as well

    Ground and pound?

    Edwards, Cotchery, Smith, Keller, LT.

    Not a terrible group.

didnt they say they might throw Cumberland on active roster as a WR?

hes obviously a TE, but the organization has a hard on for this guy to be Keller's sidekick. hopefully its completely warranted and he starts turning the raw athleticism into yards and holes in zones for his teammates.

plus coles should be back by week 2 unless everything they said in HK was a load of shit. which i doubt.

We'll have Holmes and Coles back soon and we could always give Clowney or Allison a call.

Brad Smith is better than both of them.

Danny Woodhead or LT will line up as receivers in 4-5 receiver sets and Keller is basically a receiver who has been learning how to block. We're fine with only 3 WRs for now.

I can see Cumberland going down to the practice squad when someone comes back. We can't crown this guy yet.

I don't think he will pass waivers.

Rex loves this guy. hes been hyping him up. not saying its warranted. but Rex's interest and the lack of depth behind Keller lead me to believe they have this kid learning just not dressed every week.

who knows I could be wrong. the staff just seems really high on him.

With all this TE talk i had to check and see if Ben Hartsock was still on the team.

    He is. Good.

You are right from what I have read. I would think a lesser team would pick him up and bury him on the active roster. Sort of like what the Jets are doing.

They have done that with Clowney and a couple of others the last few years. They like this guys big play ability. The funny thing is they really didn't use him in preseason much at all.

It was weird how they didn't use him much in preseason, yet let him get some reps with the 1st team in the 3rd game.

    Hmmmmmm

Hard Knocks made it sound like the Jets were considering bringing Clowney back.

    Wonder if thatll happen

I think the Chiefs got him based on one of his tweets. Coles will be back and until then Cumberland/Woodhead can line up as emergency WRs. I highly doubt any formation we run against the Ravens will require more than Cotch, Edwards, Keller, Smith and LT.

    id rather have coles

sure clowney is fast but his hands r suspect and he cant play special teams

at least coles has sure hands and since neither play special teams id rather have the guy who can make the tough 3rd down catch across the middle

That's if he's available and injuries decimate the WR corps.

I am just wondering, has anyone confirmed that Coles will be back. I have seen a bunch of people posting he will come back after week two, and understand that he can, but after he was cut, he seemed pretty adamant that he was done. Is this pure speculation, or did I miss something?
