http://www.nfl.com/stats Pennington and Coles leading the league in yards! On the other hand it is only one week and Charlie Batch is leading the league in QB rating..LOL.
Justin Miller also leads in kickoff return avg. meaningless but it wont be if this is remains true throughout the season
I just like that Coles and Pennington are on the same track. Success for this team passing the ball is going to have to be a mutual success for the two of them.
glad to see vilma had his usual 12 tackles...i was worried how he would do in the 3-4, seeing as how much it hindered ray lewis...but vilma is a smart guy, and although its only 1 game, and against the titans, i think it's safe to say vilma will be fine
getting excited who leads the league after one game of statistics is like having your leadoff hitter hit 2 home runs in the first game of the season and saying he is on pace to hit (let me see, 162 x 2) 324 home runs.
True, but let us compare our start this year to last year, when after the first game of the season against KC we looked like we would be bottom feeders for the entire year and that was an omen we could not shake. In fact, it was worse than I could have dreamed.
How awesome is this? So awesome I started a thread about it yesterday. Only one game, I know...
While I am as happy as any fan week one stats only matter to those folks in fantasy football leagues. BTW for those of you in Fantasy leagues, how many of you picked pennington, coles or dyson for your team.
3 players had 3 sacks? that's pretty impressive. Chad's achievement is downgraded because Alex Smith is also on the list.
