This should just about do it for the Pats playoff chances. They need to win all 4 of their next games and Baltimore or the Jets need to loose 2. After today's performance in a must-win game like this, winning the next 4 is nowhere near a given.
Patriots have the record they do with smoke and mirrors...aka the easiest schedule in the league. The Jets a few weeks ago and the Steelers put em in their place. Having said that..they still could get in with the AFC as weak as it is. They need some help though after losing today.
Yep...Tie game at halftime......Pats come out in second half and have 5 turnovers....The rookie Slater, who was signed for his return skills, muffs a kickoff inside the ten....Cassel doesn't take care of ball and doesn't step up in pocket...2 fumbles deep in Patriot territory....Throws an INT right to Pitt defender for another TD....Moss drops a TD pass, Gaffney has dropsies again.....tipped INT in Pitt territory....BB needs to take those 5 TO's out of his game plan..... That's not smoke and mirrors ..... Brady is the goods..whole new ballgame if Brady is in, but that's football..... Pats have lost their identity without Brady...missing Thomas,Harrison..... and Warren yesterday hurts their D more than is evident....O'Neal is a total bust at CB.....Matt Light can't handle speed rushers... Nobody from this division is going far(vre) in the playoffs......Jets are pretenders... Hats off to Steelers.....they played like it meant something...
Steelers are getting healthy at the right time this year - a whole different game with Ryan Clark playing safety this time around - I'm sure Wes Welker would agree. Good game.
