HOF game between Steelers and Cowboys cancelled

    Makes no sense why the NFL would cancel the Hall of Fame game unless they think the rest of the season will also be canceled. It isn't like the pandemic will be any better in September than in August.

    The NFL didn't actually cancel the game - the Hall of Fame did. The NFL is still telling the teams to expect to open training camp on time. I personally have my doubts, but if they do, they're not saying (yet).

    It's a shame that after years of being unreasonably excluded from the Hall it will be an extra year before Winston Hill's official induction. Of course, it was already four years too late for him to see it. At least he got to be there for his induction into the inaugural Ring of Honor class in 2010.
