How about excuses why JD's Oline plan failed or worse, how his backup plan failed. Saleh hasn't posted ONE winning season but it wasn't his fault.. Yeah, I'm calling out the Homers because last week, it was all Zach is back.. Now? They're all MIA. No words of wisdom or hope from Kal EL? Reality check Homers.. This is a BAD FOOTBALL TEAM. Rodgers won't matter. A complete housecleaning is in order here. Time to dump the bullshit excuse laden mantra and address the real problem which is, the folks who are driving this train can't drive... Every team has injuries but only the Jets use that as an excuse for losing.
Remember when a certain someone was taking victory laps about Becton being healthy? He leads the league in sacks allowed by OTs. Remember when someone said nobody left on our schedule scared them after the bye? 2-6 since. Remember when people took our record at face value earlier this season, with no consideration for how we won or by how much? Remember when they told the people with brains that they were being overly pessimistic given our record? It makes you wonder if people like this will ever learn that optimism is not the correct outlook for this franchise until proven otherwise over a lengthy stretch of time. I doubt it.
Maybe the Last Son of Krypton could grace us with an appearance? He's not shy about bragging how his "rehab" is so remarkable.
There is zero reason for optimism with this team, period. We're 13 years into a playoff drought that shows no signs of being anywhere near over. I wouldn't be surprised if we weren't even halfway through the drought, to be honest. This is a bad football team and next year is going to be even worse.
The Zach and Becton truthers sure are silent today but this teams problems go all around. If you dont have a functional Oline, it really kills anything you can try offensively. Ive never seen such a poorly coached offensive team in my life. Its almost as if the Oline was purposely trying to tank the season away especially with Becton. This team is going to need 4 new starters on the Oline next season especially and I dont even know if thats possible in 1 draft and 1 offseason. Im speechless after what i witnessed today from the Oline.
Yeah its pretty hard to believe that this year has turned out this shitty. If you rolled a 100 sided die on how the season would turn out given what we had to work with we rolled a zero. I don't think things could have come out any worse.
It's not that hard to believe if you think having a 39 year old QB protected by a 38 year old left tackle is a good idea. Joe Douglas is a fucking moron.
The problem is NOT ONLY has Douglas wasted 3 of 4 first round picks (Becton, Zach, and McDonald), but he has funneled MILLIONS of dollars into free agents would would not have gotten half as much from another team. WTF? Former undrafted FA Allen Lazard $44M?? End of career players Duane Brown $20M, Lake Tom $40M, Delvin Cook $8M? And what I think was the stupidest of all, CJ Uzoma, a career backup, $24M, and then a restructure to keep him (WTF?). I would bet Joe Douglas gets a Christmas card from the agents from players listed above and other agents representing mediocre players wanting a big contract. The jets not only have a bad roster but some terrible contracts on the books and no 2nd round draft pick next year. This team a change at the top. And not after 2024 season. Now! The team need a complete overhaul!
This has nothing to do with Zach. This staff has to go. That was the worst offensive game plan I have ever seen and the defensive game plan was not any much better. A game like this gets you fired. Miami has hurt lineman they throw quick wr screens. Not sure what the hell.we were trying to do. Becton got Zach almost beheaded.
