    Stanford RB Toby Gerhart
    Texas QB Colt McCoy
    Florida QB Tim Tebow
    Alabama RB Mark Ingram
    Nebraska DT Ndamukong Suh

I'm really surprised Clemson's CJ Spiller is not on that list. I just hope Toby Gerhart or Ndamukong Suh come out on top.

It's huge that a DL was even a finalist. I'm a little surprised that Tebow still made the cut over Moore or Spiller, but only a little. I agree with you as far as who I hope will win. I'd imagine it's McCoy or Ingram, though.

If Colt McCoy or Tim Tebow win, I will lose the rest of small amount of respect I have for this award.

Completely agree about Suh, if he wins it would be so awesome. Even though one would have to put up with the countless critics saying how its wrong because its not a qb

any news about the other awards finalist?

Spiller not even getting an invite is ridiculous.

But i'm glad the big guy is getting some love.

    Over Suh? Really?

Also, Spiller would be a perfect candidate for the maxwell award

WHEN Suh wins the Bednarik, I think they'll give the Outland to someone else.

I'm really surprised Terrence Cody wasn't nominated over Russ Okung.

Tebow's a great QB, no doubt, but his name simply doesn't belong on this list, not this year. Spiller should have been the 5th name.

My money's on Ingram winning, but Suh _should_ be the pick. Unfortunately it probably won't happen

The final week before the vote is critical.

McCoy was the frontrunner, but not anymore.

Based on last week...... Mark Ingram is my favorite to win.

Colt McCoy and Tebow had a bad week.

Suh probably deseves in more than anyone else, but a defensive player is a long shot.

Agreed, it's like the Grammys, if a female singer wins Best Album, usually they give someone else the Best Female xxx award, just to spread the love. I think the same thing would happen here

ESPN's final Heisman poll yielded some interesting results...

For one, had the vote just been ESPN columnists, it would have been Spiller invited to the ceremony instead of Tebow. He took 5th. McCoy was 4th, followed by Suh in 3rd. Ingram and Gerhart tied with 55 points, but Gerhart won the trophy with more 1st place votes, 7 to 3.

Tebow over Spiller is almost absurd, this season.

Just saw some odds for the Heisman:

    Ingram -350
    McCoy +125
    Gerhart +300
    Suh +500
    Tebow +1500
