A poster who does not have enough posts to create a thread asked this question in another thread, and I thought it was a very good one that I can't answer. So, I create this thread that hopefully one of the history junkies like nyjunc or Cakes can answer:

Probably would take alot of research and depends on what point in the season you would consider them a division leader

Good question. Another one may be - how many consectutive wins against teams with winning records?

I could eventually answer this one, but would take a lot of time because I don't have such a list in my notes.

I betcha the Jets have done this, even with their shaky history. But have they ever done it this late in a season? Maybe not.

I thought the Bills were leading the division when we beat them. Then the Pats held the tiebreaker with us and we beat them. Then we beat the Titans. 3 straight division leaders.

I thought the same thing and Buffalo was leading the division... today is the 4th division leader the Jets can beat.

    Thats amazing.

Less likely since there were less divisions before the 2002 realignment.
