A poster who does not have enough posts to create a thread asked this question in another thread, and I thought it was a very good one that I can't answer. So, I create this thread that hopefully one of the history junkies like nyjunc or Cakes can answer:
Probably would take alot of research and depends on what point in the season you would consider them a division leader
I could eventually answer this one, but would take a lot of time because I don't have such a list in my notes. I betcha the Jets have done this, even with their shaky history. But have they ever done it this late in a season? Maybe not.
I thought the Bills were leading the division when we beat them. Then the Pats held the tiebreaker with us and we beat them. Then we beat the Titans. 3 straight division leaders.
I thought the same thing and Buffalo was leading the division... today is the 4th division leader the Jets can beat. Thats amazing.
