He and Revis are also on nfl.com's "all-rookie" team.

If D.Harris would have been the starter since day one... Hands down, I say he would he DROY. But I think the 49ers LB might get it

All I know is this... Haris and Revis played great as rookies and the future is looking bright for this Defense

Willis from SF will get it, easily..

Harris had a very, very good year, but Willis started the whole season and compiled slightly better numbers, including leading the league in tackles....

Throw Rhodes in there and all we need is a good pass rushing DE.

Willis deserves it. He had a Vilma-like rookie season.

Wow, those days of Vilma being an absolute tackling machine seem like such a long time ago.

Harris is a beast.. I really wanted the Pats to take him. He was there for the taking... The Pats haven't played Meriweather yet, so it's too early to speculate on him, but man Harris would look good in a Pats uni..

Didn't the Pats spread rumors that they were taking him in the first round so that he would be taken higher?

Yeah, I remember some of that swirling around, but I really thought they were going to take him.. Hopefully they snag Ghoulston at 7, although the Jets pick 6..

If the Pats grabbed him, your team would have been 16-0 in the regular season and just waiting to cruise to the Super Bowl. While the Jets would be mired in a 4-12 season and having hardly anything to look forward to. Funny how things change.

Willis led the entire NFL in tackles by 27. One less sack than Harris, but four more stuffs, he is the DROY easily.

If Harris would have started all season, he would have smoked Willis.

Which is why Harris should win the Defensive Rookie of the Year award.

Harris compiled stats very similar to Willis, and he did it in fewer games.

You don't win awards becasue of what ifs...you win them with your play on the field and Willis was one the field more than Harris.

Blame Mangini for not playing Harris early on.
