Don't really consider myself a Player yet since I just started playing this year. I decided to change my Pickguard, knobs, pickup covers and backplate so I figured I'll show you mine, you show me yours  Before: ---------------------------------------------------------During: After: ------------------------------------------------------------The Knobs:
I have an acoustic but this was the only axe that I have That guitar was sick after they hooked it up:beer:
Thanks, I did it myself. The flash kinda kills the Blue but it's more like a royal blue crushed velvet. Matches the strap  Show us that Acoustic then!!!
Im feeling lazy tonight but maybe tomorrow I'll take a picture, Im still learning it sucks. I just throw on my i-pod and play whatever. I should probably learnt he basicss and notes and such...ah well maybe one day I'll be somewhat allright on it.
I own 3 guitars. (2 Ibanez, 1 Strat) ...and 3 sets of drums. (All Ludwig, 2 are playable, the other is missing hardware, but was basically my starter set.) 2 Ibanez's are pictured, and only 1 of my drumsets are pictures. I have recently added another tom, as well as a set of roto toms to my set. Along with a China cymbal. But the pic was taken about a year and a half ago already, so it's not shown.
Dude, That Ibanez is Gorgeous! I too have other equipment (Production Studio) way to much to post so I'll just stay w/ the guitar. How good of a drummer are you? Better than the Guitar. We should jam one day. edit: and oh yeah, Clean your Bed!!!
HAH, I was just about to ask him if he has "Guitar Head" instead of "Bed Head" in the morning. Guitars are so soft and cozy, so quit hogging.
I don't honestly know. I don't like to rate myself. I play to my ability. I grew up around music pretty much, and the drums just appealed to me. I got my first set when I was 5. It was a beat up set from the 70's that was passed down to me. I watched the drummer of the band my mother played Keyboard for (Long Story; but to some it up, it wasn't any band you'd ever hear of), and I would just pay attention to beats and rhythm's and I would go home and immitate it. So for the past 11 years, I have taught myself the drums by ear. Usually if I listen to the song 2-3 times, it's easy to pick up. But, I would consider myself an average drummer, nothing more. Guitar I have been playing for 4 years. Started with the Ibanez in the 1st pic, then I was given the 2nd Ibanez as a gift. And a few months ago, I bought a Strat. Same as drums, I don't really know how to play measures or anything, but I know pretty much all the chords, and have just picked up bits and pieces of songs from tabs off the internet. I also have an Epiphone bass guitar with a bass amp, but I haven't really picked it up too much. I only bought it just to try it. I got it as a bargain, because I am good friends with the owner and I buy a lot of stuff from them.
Something like this- BC Rich NJ Series, except mine is black and doesn't have the ridiculous headstock. I also have an Ibanez RXsomethingorother and a Yamaha acoustic. I'll try to take pics of them later.
Football and guitars, woo hoo!! PRS MCCarty (this is my main gigging guitar) Gibson SG (I mostly just write on this one these days) Takamine acoustic (for hanging out on the deck) Edited to fix the pictures (thanks Royal Tee)
Thanks. It practically plays itself. It's the only thing in my life that I could never, ever replace (besides the wife and kid).
A.K. Put them on imageshack and you'll be able to post img's  afa the knobs, they are Q-Parts (Blue Abalone) I ordered 2 different sizes 1 Large for the Vol. and 2 small for the tone/treble. I figured that would be a little different than just big labeled knobs. I love the fact that we have some Musicians here. We gotta get some files going... oh yeah.
