Guitar Hero: AEROSMITH - coming in June!!!

This is a great addition to the guitar hero world. i always wondered why they didnt put more Aerosmith, Journey, Steve Miller Band and REO Speedwagon... they have great songs, and they for whatever reason never made the guitar hero games.

 

I read about this earlier today on another forum, but no link was provided. Glad to see it's really coming out.

 

Is this game going to have only Aerosmith songs on it or will it have just mostly Aerosmith songs with other bands' songs mixed in?

 

As far as I know, it's just Aerosmith. Dream On was released for free on XBox Live. Really easy.

I wonder if Last Child and Same Old Song and Dance will be on it?

 

I hope Don't Wanna Miss A Thing is on it.

Man oh man...Janie's got a gun and Kings and queens is gonna get boring very quickly.

They should make a sequel to the 80's edition..

 

this is just a stop gap guitar hero. like rock the 80's was before it. It's gonna be a quickly made game that is not gonna be very good at all compared to GH 1 2 and 3. I think it is much more worth it to just wait for GH 4.

I'll never decline new Guitar Hero songs. I like Aerosmith, but while I'm not their biggest fan, Last Child and Same Old Song and Dance are fun to play on GH. So is Dream On, although it is easy.

 

I think thee 80's edition is the best one. Some of thee best shredding is from the 80's

 

I'm holding out for a metal edition.

 

I wouldnt hold my breath...their idea of metal wouldd be 18 visions, disturbed and Funeral for a friend.

The 80's version is the closest you're gonna getw/ Maiden, Ratt, and Accept.

 

They have a lot of Maiden available for d/l on Rock Band, old Metallica, Dragon Force (who I am not a fan of but the song is fun to play) on Guitar Hero. I don't see how it would be that big of a deal but I understand where you are coming from since they have to stay pretty mainstream to sell copies.

 

There is some slipknot and slayer on GH3.

 

yeah i got rock the 80s as soon as it came out and i must say, i was disappionted. This will prob be the same thing so i think ill pass and just wait for gh4...of course i know in june i will be itching to play different songs and prob buy it anyway

 

Aerosmith songs are a lot of fun to play on GH. I only played 80's encore once, but the reason the game wasn't that good was because the songs weren't that much fun to play. Aerosmith songs are fun to play. The band has grown on me, I like their old stuff a lot. Drugs=great.

 

Don't think I will buy this one, GH3 is good. I like the mix of bands. All Aerosmith will get old.

 

It's out today. Anyone plan on picking it up?

I'll have to wait later in the week to buy it.

 

I'm not too sure on this one, not a big Aerosmith fan per say, but I don't hate them. I rented it from Gamefly, should be here soon.
