The whole front 7 was very, very goood, but out played by our secondary.

    Great game for the D.

The O looked good as well.

Can't wait till a real test, with a healthy kicker, next week!

In other news, Miami averaged 2.9 per carry against us. So those whom said our run D was no better, care to comment????

We're looking much improved against the run...

But we miss Vilma in pass coverage badly. There were a LOT of seams in the hook-curl area today

Saying this was due to the lack of Vilma is not at all revelant. Vilma was the ytpical 4-3 MLB. He did not make great palys against the pass while he was here.

This D was good against the run and decent against the pass. Sure Chad had good plays in the middle, but was not great overall.

Vilma was often out matched in the 3-4 in both rushing and passing downs. I hope he has a great yean in NO, but am glad that we have the LB core we have now.

^ No, but Vilma was our best cover LB, by a long shot. We didn't see TEs and RBs running free in the 5-10 yard range when he was here.

Both Harris and Barton are excellent against the run- but we need help in pass coverage...
