    For shiggles...

    First:
    - LeSean McCoy
    - Greg Hardy
    - Everette Brown
    - Clint Sintim

    Second:

    - Evander Hood
    - Patrick Chung/Rashad Johnson
    - BJ Raji
    - Kenny Britt

    I might be overrated Britt.

And anyone who thinks it'd be crazy to draft another DE/OLB propsect (Brown or Hardy)...but I say why not?

i need to see WR early in 09 draft......

think of it folks, the 2 starting WR - one was drafted in 2000, the other was a 4th rounder in 03 i think. - talk about a return on your investment........excluding keller of course.....

it doesn't matter if LC and JC both put up 1000 yd seasons in 08; the jets need a stud at WR for whoever is the QB next year.

whether they can work a trade for an already established WR who knows but it has to get done - preferably thru the draft.

220+ guys who'll get drafted, and then the bunch that probably won't. Lotta choice at 32.

Assuming the Jet's have a mid to late 20's pick.

I'm going offense first (will post defense later)

Rd 1 Duke Robinson, OG/RT, Oklahoma

Rd 2 Brian Robiskie, WR Ohio State

Jets' add a terrific player to a solid O-Line. I'm not a Brandon Moore fan and more depth and eventual starter will help O-line. Robiskie....Coaches son, team captian, academic all-american......plus a Dam good receiver with good size. Will be better than Anthony Gonzo. See Guys , I don't hate all Buckeyes.....:)

If the Jets make the playoffs, we loss our Rd 2 pick to GB. We should recoup a Rd 2 from New Orleans.

This isnt what I want but this is what I see

Rd 1 25th overall- DE George Selvie(South Florida)
Rd 2 51st overall- Lost pick due to Favre
Rd 3 62nd overall- WR Derrick Williams(Penn St)
    Rd 3 69th overall(Vilma pick)- QB Hunter Cantwell(Louisville)

I think Williams will eventually shoot himself to the late 1st round to early 2nd round but as of now hed prob be in the early 3rd rd-mid 3rd round and I'd love to add him aboard. Selvie I'd imagine would be the Ellis replacement or Kenyon Coleman replacement and would be a BPA type of pick.

I also expect Favre to retire and Mangini and Co. not being in INSANE love with their QBs so they'd take the chance on Cantwell.

George Selvie is around 50+ pounds to small to play 3-4 DE.

    1) A solidifying presence on the D-Line; perhaps an heir apparent to Kris Jenkins.

    2) A power running back.

You've seen the dropoff in the D when Jenkins goes out. I don't think Pouha has enough talent to anchor the 3-4. So I'd love to get a solid starter who could play if Jenkins were injured. Also having two guys means more DL rotations which keeps everyone fresh - both during the game & the season.

Good 3-4 NT are as rare as good QB. The whole 3-4 defense revolves around the NT doing his job correctly. So it is crucial to have more than one solid starter on your roster.
