Very sad. I would say no one in the history of popular music understood culture like Bowie. He was so far ahead of the game it wasn't even funny.

    Condolences to Mick Jagger ;)

Was just reading an article the other day that he released an album on his most recent birthday , which was 3 days ago.

That album will sell like crazy now I bet.

A shame. Still, this is what happens when you record a song like Let's Dance.

    RIP to David Bowie.

I think his best album was Heroes. But I don't listen to it all the way through. Still... Joe the Lion. Great stuff.

Which Bowie? : ) Guy was a prolific chameleon with a big-time, varied oveure.

    ^ definitely "Swishergette City" bills-paying drek.. : -)

On the other hand, "Hunky Dory" and "Station to Station" LPs - major tom probs.

"Do you remember, your president Nixon?....oooohh..." : -(

You serious JS? No more stereo for you - Brooklyn: give this tin ear a 'van Gogh' to go with his van Dyke.
    :D

    R.I.P. thin white genius.
