I just received an email from LV Coach who informed me that his son, Green Guy, passed away on Sunday April 27th of 2008 at the age of 44. Green Guy was a member of this board for many years and will surely be missed... Rest in peace....
Oh man, what a shame. Really sorry to hear this news. My condolences to LV Coach and the rest of his family.
What a terrible loss. A great contributer here and likely an even better person. My prayers go out to his family. RIP Green Guy.
Definitely my condolances to LV Coach & his family for sure. No man should outlast his children. 44 is way too young. May he rest in peace.
Shocking news... he was always a passionate voice among Jet fans, even when we disagreed about things. Very sad to see him go and so young still as well. LV Coach, my thoughts and prayers are with you and your family.
Very sad indeed. Good last post by GG, and something we shouldn't forget (football players make plays on the field: "I was there in 1980 for the Lam Jones pick...on the line to get into the ballroom at the Sheraton. The fans booed for sure- and when I saw old time NY Sportscaster Bill Mazer come out of the ballroom to head to the press room - I asked him why Jone... `he's fast, real fast' Mazer replied. I said I know - but he can't catch the ball - so who cares how fast he is... Mazer gave me a funny look - but then again didn't he have a glass eye? In retrospect ------------------------"
Wow this is pretty shocking. He was a quality member here for a long time, one of the earliest members I can recall on this forum. May he rest in peace.
Wow, this is terrible news. God Bless him and his family, and of course my heartfelt condolences to all. As has been said, he was a good contributor to the board. He will surely be missed.
Didn't know the dude, cause i'm a newbie, but... RIP Green Guy My condolences goes out to LV Coach and the rest of the family.
