    Pretty simple rules:

    1. No greatest hits/compilations
    2. Disagreements are only allowed if you think the said artist has an album that is more worthy than the one that was posted. Otherwise respect people's opinions.

I'll start with a band that hasn't shown up in any of the other music threads. Saw them on the Unforgettable Fire tour in Hartford, CT. Knew 3 songs going in and I walked out completely blown away. Still in my top 5 concerts of all time.

This album put U2 in the map and I consider it one of the greatest albums of all time.

Some would argue that The Wall was better but I think DSOM is the right call. The Wall didn't have enough Gilmour for my tastes as it was pretty much Roger Waters' brain child. A great album for sure but DSOM is just an all time epic album, start to finish.

They aren't for everyone but I grew up listening to this album over and over. Saw them once in Boston around 30 years ago. They were fantastic.[IMG]

Another one that was constantly played when I was 15 years old. Every song is great.

Animals and wywh could easily be on the list too. Momentary lapse is my favorite Floyd album

That’s not a real Floyd album though.
