Excellent Chart to use for mock drafts - (including the GGI 7 RD mock draft)

    http://www.drafttek.com/teamneeds2010.asp

It not only lists team needs, but it lists the "degree" of the needs as well.

It also distinguishes between 3-4 and 4-3 defenses and feature backs verses scatbacks or flankers verses Slot WR's, etc.

This chart is updated fairly often too, so it will account for free agent pickups and losses as the off season progresses.

I think its the best team needs chart on the net, or at least the best I have found.

    Drafttek is my #1 site.

They give you a new mock draft ever few days, and you get to see the many different options for the Jets.

hahaha yeah it does something away from it.

That's why Cody is 59th on their big board.

Wow, that site looks real nice. Might overtake WalterFootball as my draft site of choice.

Drafttek is fantastic. I love the computer simulated mock drafts, also if memory serves, you can go through yourself and fiddle with team needs, and players who if they are there when a certain team picks in a certain round, the player will automatically be selected no matter what other criteria occur.

That was tossed in there a few years back, because everyone and their grandmother knew the Lions were taking Calvin Johnson #2 overall, but for whatever they couldnt fix their draft engine so that he would be selected without making receiver a top priority, which was useless because Detroit then would draft like 4 receivers over the seven rounds...

Either way Drafttek is plenty of fun to fiddle with, and is updated regularly.

I never use someone else's opinion on determining the needs for my team in our mock drafts.

I study the depth chart, players that are FA or their contract will be coming due after the season. I also look at the current player's stats and see if their play eroding.

I look at the scheme on defense for that particular team and try to make players fit.
