I just want to cut him, stop dealing with injury plagued QBs, move on.

Give him his money, let him walk, start fresh with Ramsey/Clemens/Bollinger.

One too many chances. I am at the point where I don't even want to bother. Just take the cap hit. Woody should chop Bradway's balls off for fucking up his franchise.

if he can play as good as he did before the injury, then there is a good chance we make the playoffs considering the upgrades we've made on the o-line (which should be able to keep pennington on his feet this season).

no one on this board can argue that they wouldnt want the old pennington as our QB. so if he can get back to were he was id be more then happy to have him QBing our team for the next 2-4 years.

I agree, chad is done, time to move on. But he will get another chance, hopefully he succeeds, but I cannot see it happening.

I know one thing, Chad will work his ass off to get back to full strength.. Now whether or not it pays off in the end? I have my doubts..but if anyone can,it will be a player with the kind of heart and desire that Penny is gonna put into it..You can't count on it but I'll be rooting for it..

I still have faith in Chad. Does have an Elway arm?? No. But he's never had that and I don't think it matters...If there is anyone who can comeback from that, it is Chad...I truly belive that

This statement here makes you wonder what happened last year

"Whatever the coaches, and more importantly the doctors, have laid out for me, I'll follow those guidelines," Pennington said. "I don't know what those guidelines are yet."

Almost sounds like he is acknowledging that Herm rushed him thru last year

The die hard fan in me will root for penny to make a full comback. The realist in me knows he's 50/50 at best and will most likely be done after this year.

yea and the reason it sucked is beacause last years CS rushed him into playing way before he was ready.

this is the part of the article u all should be given hope by

"Pennington's recovery schedule is far more favorable than last year, when he was rushed back to start in the season opener only 31 weeks after the first operation on his right rotator cuff. Yesterday was the 31-week mark after the latest operation, which was performed Oct. 6."

He has a whole summer now to get ready for the season instead of being rushed like last year and i feel(along with many of the jets players) that with his heart and desire to play he will be back to his old form in this upcoming season.

He got rushed back. Skrew Herm.

For all the doubts and dislike I have with Chad as a player, I don't doubt him at all as a person. He has the will to overcome it.

With that being said, I hope he is not in our future plans.

Oh I will root for him no doubt. Part of being a Jets fan, but I just am in disagreement with the management and the shit hole contract Bradway left us with.

There is alot you can blame Bradway for. Signing Pennington to that contract IS NOT something you can blame him for.. At the time there was every reason to believe that Pennington was our franchise Qb, with that in mind you don't let your franchise QB get to his FA year without an extension. It is unfortunate what happened after he signed the contract but thats not Bradways fault..

Signing a guy who hadn't played a full season is something I will always blame him for. Just my opinion.

    In Chad We Trust

fcuk the haters. Pennington is going to lead this franchise to its 2nd Superbowl victory. Shit he led us to the 2nd round of the playoffs with a torn rotator cuff. Imagine what he can do when he's healthy.
