http://longisland.newsday.com/sports/football/jets/mark-sanchez/ both game by game, and cumulative. overall, there's been improvement in most areas. he had a great start to last season so it skews things a bit right now, but i like his 9 td to 5 int ratio at this point in this season. he has thrown for more yards, and a (slightly) better completion percentage than his first two years. that's even counting the awful game at baltimore.
the most concerning thing is his rollercoaster QB rating. looking at the game by game charts (in all 3 years) for that stat makes my eyes hurt
Sanchez is making real strides this year. He's looking exactly like you'd expect a 3rd year QB to look in an offense that is not totally centered on him. For reference, Ben Roethlisberger's 3rd year he had a 59.7 completion percentage and threw 18 TD's and 23 picks. The people who are disappointed in Sanchez were looking for the Peyton Messiah to come along and win all by himself with the rest of the team magically swept along on his coat-tails. There've only been a few of those in NFL history and we have no idea when the next one is showing up.
SOO.. Sanchie is banging tony sopranos daugter ..... i wonder if that has anything to do with his play on the road trips... no pussy http://wn.com/Jamie_Lynn-Sigler_Dating_NY_Jets_QB_Mark_Sanchez
"Gurl did you that rumor that mexican from the NewYork Jets is dating that purdy white gurl, from, from whatchamacallit...uh. Shes Tony Sopranos dawghter..."
I dont get what all the hates about. He has 11 TD and 5 picks. If Any other QB was doing what he is, with a shitty running game, bad Oline they would be getting praised. Hell Freeman is getting praised with 4 TD and 6 Picks, its pathetic honestly.
If it were any other poster, i'd make fun of your inability to count. but it's almost expected in your case 11 /= 9
:rofl: this is full of win. Meanwhile, it's charts like these that only give more relevance to the fact that it is not Sanchez but Schotty ruining our drives.
true, but when you talk in terms of tds and ints, no one ever includes rushing TDs. It'd be like including fumbles in the INT number
When mike vick rushed for 9 TD's last year no one really discounted those... But I know what your saying
the other thing, that nobody is bothering to point out, is the fact he hasn't turned it over in 2 weeks. thats huge. Hell he hasnt even made a throw that could have been picked off (aka dropped pick). So thats a positive for him. If he can keep that going for another week, it would be ideal. Hard to beat a good team if you turn it over
i guess you missed that deep ball to plax that sean smith shouldn't have dropped (but he did because he's sean smith)
He had that one vs Miami where Sean Smith pretty much dropped the ball on a go route to plax... I might blame that on the fact that Plaxico runs like he's carrying 300 lbs
