I like the first two picks, both were solid, not spectacular, but I think our biggest need was at CB and WR and we failed to land a stud at either position. Time will tell if the lower round guys will pan out and produce at either position. Because of this C+, B- draft.

Are you saying the 233rd pick won't make or break this draft class?

Picking Zimmerman, Coleman or Sam would make me like it more.

    But Im not expecting that.

    B

Stocked up the roster, created good competition at several areas.

Only thing I would have liked is a better pass rushing prospect, but all things considered I feel the Jets did well.

I liked the draft a lot. I'll grade it in 2 years. Before that we just don't know.

The Seahawks 2011 draft got D- and F from a lot of people and 2 years later they won the Super Bowl with people like Malcolm Smith, Richard Sherman, K.J. Wright and Byron Maxwell making big contributions.

There's no way I can grade a draft in which I have no real knowledge of over half the picks we made. I like Pryor a lot and Amaro (although his selection surprised me), and I like how we added depth and competition. I think people expect way too much out of the draft every year.

    I went C

I like the first two picks, felt McDougle was a reach, WRs we Drafted are underwhelming and the rest is a mix of special teams guys and backups so nothing particularly exciting there either.

If McDougle doesn't end up a complete waste of a pick it could go up to a B or B+

Voted B. That also seems to be the consensus.

I like that we got Trevor Reilly in the 7th, didn't think he'd be there. I wonder why he fell, I think he could be a starter in a year or two.

    B+

However they have earned a full grade letter curve for making Manish look like a tool, so A+

    Overall, I gave them a B.

    1. Calvin Pryor - A
    2. Jace Amaro - C+
    3. Dexter McDougle - C
    4. Jalen Saunders - C
    4. Shaquelle Evans - B
    4. Dakota Dozier - B
    5. Jeremiah George - C
    6. Brandon Dixon - B
    6. Quincy Enunwa - F
    6. IK Enempkpala - F
    6. Tajh Boyd - A+
    7. Trevor Reilly - A+

Overall, an up and down draft, but other than Pryor and maybe Amaro, few impact players. Could have given them a C, but went optimistic with B.

I think his athleticism was limited by playing through an ACL injury, and he is a bit older because he spent two years in Sweden on a LDS mission. He is a pretty impactful player, I mean not a first round talent but I think he's an excellent value in the middle of the 7th.

I agree I'm a big Reilly fan I was just answering your question as to why he was available.
