I was talking about this a month or so ago, and it seems to me that the jets are just good at one thing, beating good teams, we cant beat a shit team if our life depended on it, so the real battle of the season will be to defeat the 6-7 Bills and 2-11 Seahawks, so as long as a losing record team doesnt make the playoffs we should go all the way. We have beaten garbage teams, but it was tight save the rams game. All of our loses were to shit teams, and yes Denver sucks, and the Pats beating us with Cassel starting his first game since HS basically is a sucky team, and they didnt even play that good, we just played worse. So I'm obviously not 100% serious... but yet i have this feeling that if we had the hardest schedule in the nfl we'd be like 11-2 right now...whats with this fucking team.:shit:
If this is the case, then you should be considering us SB champions if we manage to eek our way into the Playoffs, and I just don't see that. I think we're currently in a slump that I can't possibly see us getting out of. I think a W against Buffalo this week will help spark something, but, I'm not sold on this Jets team being a GOOD to GREAT team. Just a product of a (relatively) weak schedule imo.
I dont know it boggles my mind man, there is no reason we should suck this bad, and after watching the 49ers second td i realized we got nice pressure and were about to sack hill, he threw quickly to his reciever who had our guy beat, man i keep thinking come on pass rush, pass rush, but our guys got no one covered anyway, its like he's playing madden on amatuer

The Jets turned their season around against Buffalo... they had better remember what the hell they did last time and do it again!!!
Knowing our coaching staff, they'll think Buffalo will prepare for THAT gameplan this time around, thereby completely scrapping it and starting a brand new one. One where we run endarounds with Brad Smith, some Wildcat, Thomas Jones gets 5 carries, LC throws a pass downfield a-la Randel El, and...we'll you know what I'm getting at. All of which eventually will lead to yet...another embarrassing loss. Gotta give it up to our CS in trying to outwit the opposition.
The Jets went on a mid season run using a short passing attack and stopping the run on D. Now teams have figured us out, they know we can't throw deep and our LBs can't cover.
They really counted on Gholston to up the pass rush...if the guy could've lived up to expectations, we probably win at least one of these games. Unfathomable that he could be this bad
