Bill Cowher wanted full control last time around and the Jets will be looking for a GM, QB, and a head coach. This is a perfect opportunity to go after Bill Cowher, provided he wants to get involved in this shit show. This is the worst coached Jets team I can remember. The game preparation is sloppy. The execution of plays is not fluid, they can't make first contact tackles, this team is average at best. PS Pettine sucks.

no way this is on rex. tanny really needs to be held accountable here. training staff cant keep guys on the field, and no depth whatsoever.
Biggest Rex fan here seriously. He's lovable. But his game preparation is horrible. He cannot make the proper adjustments on the fly either. As much as I want him to be here, he won't. If you fire the GM, you have to allow the next GM to pick his coach.... And the bottom line is our GM will be unemployed in 2013.

Love Rex, draft and free agency has to change. There were d line, linebackers available, and the drafts were bad... Get rid of Tanny, and I dont think rex should have picked anything from Miami to coach anything. Keep Rex, but put him on a leash.
I still like Rex. He just can't coach offense. If we had a decent offense this game and Mark Sanchez wasn't such a dumb ass it wouldn't have been a shutout no doubt
No. Just No. Show me where Cowher admitted he lost the pulse of his team. He's just not. Until Rex can win a division title, or a conference title, or a SB, Cowher is better. You are so, SO wrong.
Means nothing 4 games in. Do you really think New England won't pass the Jets? Once they pass the Jets they are not looking back. I'm not even being a darksider here. The Jets do not give me that "aura" that any given week they can beat a better team on paper. That's my litmus test.
