I've been looking into getting one from the US , mainly because all the games that I like are either re-formatted like the madden 07 or are unavailable , like NCAA football. Also the ? against the $ is amazing. The US is on a different voltage so assumed that I would either have to use an adapter or wind up the voltage. NOT SO , the latest PS3 will run off a kettle lead or the same power lead that plugs into the back of the pc , and bingo your away. At the moment , the games are region free , the only thing that may be different is the blu-ray discs. The other thing is that you need a TV that accepts NTSC , which is nearly all of the latest HDTVs.
