The Jets beating the Eagles being compared to the Giants beating the Commanders, (oops I almost said their old name)? Do you really think this is a fair comparison? Beating the Eagles is more impressive. The Jets are a better team! Your defense is winning you games with your best CB out. I will admit the Giants not playing Danny Dimes Jones might actually help them. If I was a betting man, I would bet on the Jets just having to cover 3 points. If Zack continues not to play stupidly, I can see the Jets exploiting the Giant's blitzes with draws, screens, and dump-offs to their RBs. It goes without saying that the Jets running game will be important. Let's see how good the Giant's run defense really is because the Jets do have a good running game lately. Please say after me, "The Jets will annihilate the Giants"!
Hopefully this isn't a Same ole Jets game, if they want to make a statement, then they'll play 4 quarters of good football, and win, as a good team wins, not waiting for the Giants to lose the game.
It'll come down to the QB play--4q's of good from ZW is a big ask. That said, there is some probabillity that he has the best game of his career today--a bigger probability that he regresses from the last 3 games. And most likely is he plays an average of the last 3 games.
There isn’t really a comparison to be honest. We have the far superior roster in pretty much every way. It’s a matter of game plan, readiness and if the SOJ are going to show up.
Vilma really hit it on its head. I don't know one position group that I would take over ours except QB. I wrote this in the game thread but will write it again - the Giants are scoring 11 PPG under Tyrod - they scored offensive touchdowns in 2 of their last 20 quarters. This is worse than us not scoring a TD in our last 3 games to end the 2022 season. They STINK offensively - our DL was giving KC and Philly problems? The Giants OL is garbage The only way the Jets lose this game is if #2 turns into a pumpkin again and turns the ball over 3x or Saquon goes for 250 and 2 and we can't stop him.
